Being offered is a magnificent set of two Meissen candelabra, which is estimated to have been made in the 19th Century. One of the candelabra shows some restorations and several chips in the flowers; in addition the metal base, which is inserted in the candleholder, was broken, but fixed to fit on top of the candleholder. The other one is in better condition showing some chips or dents. The putti are playing different instruments (some of them have minor losses or chips). The two candelabra have the blue crossed swords from the famous Meissen studies; and two incised marks (50 and G194). There are no cancellation marks.
Both candelabra are heavy and each one measures 23.5” tall and 14” wide.
